Re-Opening Our Offices

Kassouf will begin a phased approach to return employees to the office beginning Wednesday, June 3, 2020, with the majority of our staff back in the office full-time by Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Kassouf is following all state and local guidelines as we move forward with our plans to re-open our offices to clients, and we will continue to follow the advice of public and healthcare professionals, adapting our best practices as guidelines evolve.

Please be aware of the following guidelines regarding our current office protocols before scheduling a visit:

  • Video conferencing is our preference for all meetings;
  • Six feet of separation must be maintained between all persons who do not reside in the same household;
  • Frequently used items and surfaces will be regularly disinfected;
  • All visitors must self-assess using the COVID-19 Screening Survey (below) prior to arriving on-site;
  • No handshaking, fist bumping, or other physical contact is permitted;
  • The number of attendees in meetings is limited to 4 people in order to maintain social distancing;
  • The use of conference rooms is limited to Kassouf meetings – all external board meetings and other group events are not permitted on the premises.

COVID-19 Screening Survey

We ask that all Kassouf visitors please use this self-screening survey to evaluate your health prior to arriving on-site.

  • Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or in contact with someone who has been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
  • Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?
  • Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
  • Have you experienced new loss of taste or smell?
  • Have you experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

Please ensure you have taken your temperature before arriving on-site and that it does not exceed 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, or if you are running a fever, please avoid the premises and seek medical care or COVID-19 testing or both.

The Internal Revenue Service has extended the filing and payment deadline until July 15th. Individuals can defer up to $1 million in payments and Corporations can defer up to $10 million in payments for 90 days following the April 15th due date. During this time, no interest or penalties will be assessed. No formal guidance has been issued on the recently announced policy.
